Software and Graphics.
The software at PKR is what separates them from the rest. They are the first and only site to offer 3D gaming. Players choose an avatar when they first join and this becomes an extension of you. You can fully customize your character from clothes to unique sayings and actions. You can do chip tricks and have a special move when you scoop up a big pot. The fun part about this feature is that you can buy these special actions in the store with the points you earn just from playing. It has a video game feel to it. You move up in ranks and unlock certain features that allow you to upgrade and customize your avatar.
There’s a ton of cool features that go along with your avatar and actual game play. While waiting for your next hand you can decide to twirl your chips or interact with the other players seated at the table. It takes the boredom out of the game and gives a truly interactive experience for everyone. Don’t just sit there and wait until the hand finished anymore, start unlocking upgrades and show the table your cool new moves.

Tournaments
The tournament schedule at PKR is solid. They offer a few unique variations of your standard poker tournament. The first being their Break Thru tournaments, which have a fun twist to how you win money. These play the same as you normally would, however the pay-outs are different. Make it to the last 25% of players and get triple your buy in back. All players will win the same amount except for the winner. The winner also receives 25% of the total prize pool. They also have double and triple chance tournaments that allow you to buy in two or three times after you bust.
You can also choose from any of their sit-n-go tournaments running constantly. They have some fascinating games including their Terminator games. These have no payout structure and players win money by knocking other opponents out of the game. It’s a fast paced game and can be fun change of pace from the norm.

Competition and Traffic
The players at PKR are pretty bad. The site is geared to attract recreational players. The ones who choose to play at PKR are usually looking for a good time with winning money as a bonus feature. This means you can swoop in and take advantage of these weaker players.
The traffic is decent but not great. PKR does not run on a network with other skins. They are a standalone network and rely on pulling in players by themselves. This gives them a slight disadvantage when it comes to player pools, but there are still enough tables and games goings to support your needs.
